Staff illnesses to close Unatego Central Schools

All Unatego Central Schools will be closed Thursday and Friday because of staff illness, school business manager Nicholas Rosas said tonight.

A large number of staff members had contacted the district today, saying they were unwell, and “it can only get worse,” he said.

He did not have numbers of staff that would be out. Student absences at Otego Elementary and the Junior/Senior High School were higher than usual but he did not have specifics.
