ONEONTA _ A small electrical fire at the Opportunity for Otsego offices at 3 West Broadway resulted in the closure of the non-profit agency Tuesday.
OFO was expected to re-open Wednesday, according to fire officials.
A fire broke out in an electrical outlet in an office at OFO at about 10:11 a.m. Firefighters responded and the fire damage was limited to the outlet area. A wall was damaged as firefighters attempted to determine if the fire had spread, fire officials said.
The building was evacuated and no injuries were reported.
The building closure was to allow OFO’s electrician to go over the building’s wiring, fire officials said.
