Storms likely to affect Delaware, Otsego

The National Weather Service is warning of a line of strong thunderstorms, with frequent lightning, likely to affect Delaware and east-central Otsego counties.
The storms are expected to reach the following areas:
■ East Meredith and Butts Corner, 4:55 p.m.
■ Trout Creek and Meridale, 5 p.m.
■ Kortright, 5:10 p.m.
■ Walton, 5:15 p.m.
■ East Delhi and Delhi, 5:20 p.m.
■ Stamford and Hobart, 5:25 p.m.
■ Bovina Center, 5:35 p.m.

In Unadilla Forks, a member of the public has reported trees across state Route 8 at 3:27 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
