Three counties under t’storm warning

The National Weather Service has upgraded the alert for Chenango County, Delaware County and Otsego County, which are under a thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m.
Strong winds — surpassing 70 mph — and hail are possible with this storm, the NWS has said.

In Delaware and Otsego counties, the t’storm warning has been extended until 7:15 p.m. The NWS canceled the Chenango warning at about 6:25 p.m.
